Senate Bill 139 improves shelter and tether standards in hazardous weather conditions that pose a serious adverse risk to the health and safety of dogs. *Should inclement weather impact the outdoor signing, the ceremony will take place on the same date and time on the 12th Floor of the Carvel State Office Building. POSTPONED Inaugural States for Gun Safety Summit

This event is open to the press.​​

WHAT:          Governor John Carney will attend the inaugural States for Gun Safety Summit in Newark, New Jersey. The States for Gun Safety coalition, which was formed in 2018, advances a multi-pronged, regional approach to combat gun violence. Member states include Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. The day-long Summit will feature informative sessions from diverse voices to broaden the reach and impact of commonsense gun safety measures enacted at the state level.​
