POSTPONED Inaugural States for Gun Safety Summit
This event is open to the press.
WHAT: Governor John Carney will attend the inaugural States for Gun Safety Summit in Newark, New Jersey. The States for Gun Safety coalition, which was formed in 2018, advances a multi-pronged, regional approach to combat gun violence. Member states include Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. The day-long Summit will feature informative sessions from diverse voices to broaden the reach and impact of commonsense gun safety measures enacted at the state level.
