Summer Learning Resources

Summer Matters logo of a sun rising above an open book.

There are a lot of fun summer programs available for Delaware students this year. Contact your school district and to sign up your kids today. We’ve learned a lot over the past three years – educating during the pandemic. And here’s what’s clear. Summer matters.

We need to support our students to improve reading proficiency and long-term success. We know our schools can’t do all this alone. It takes all of us to support our students.

Parents, grandparents, and neighbors, we need your support — this summer, we want to ensure every seat available to K-12 students across our state is filled.

We know summer is and should be fun. Our schools and camps across the state have built programs that allow students to get outside and enjoy the weather while receiving high-quality reading and math instruction.

Let’s make this summer count. Contact your school district today and plan a visit to your local library to pick up a new book. I look forward to hearing about all of the efforts of our students this summer.”
