First 100 Days: Delivering for Delaware
In his first 100 days, Governor Matt Meyer has hit the ground running — traveling thousands of miles across the state, listening to Delawareans, and turning bold ideas into real progress. And the Meyer Administration is hard at work turning his vision of a fairer and more efficient Delaware into a reality.
We’re working to expand youth apprenticeships across state government and accelerate the construction of affordable housing in every county. Governor Meyer’s budget eliminates $50 million in medical debt for working families, as well as millions in direct classroom investment to address our statewide literacy crisis – because a child who can’t read can’t succeed. We’re also streamlining state government so people can get the essential services they need faster.
The work is just beginning, but the message is clear: we’re leading with compassion, urgency, and an unwavering belief in what’s possible in Delaware when we work together.
