Delaware faces structural budget challenges, with spending in areas like healthcare and education outpacing the growth of key revenue sources. Governor Carney believes we need a budget reset - one that focuses on spending and revenue. Over the coming weeks and months, he will work with Democrats and Republicans in the General Assembly on a sustainable, long-term solution to our budget challenges. We also want to hear ideas from members of the public - Delawareans who balance their own checkbooks day to day.
