Books for Blue is available in three languages, English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
Books for Blue will feature accompanying worksheets, videos, and events for further engagement. This book was made possible by the generosity and partnership of Casey Family Programs.

Families will be able to borrow Books for Blue from 33 libraries across the state. Copies are also being sent to school districts for distribution in their schools and early learning centers.
First Spouse Tracey Quillen Carney will be hosting events across the state as part of the Reading Tour with educators, members of the General Assembly, and various community partners. Please keep an eye out at your local library for upcoming community events!
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides children up to five years old with a FREE book every month. That’s 60 books in total!
First Spouse Tracey Quillen Carney advocated for the expansion of the Imagination Library into Delaware, and it has helped countless children since its implementation in 2020. As chair of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Delaware, the First Spouse is committed to ensuring that every child has access to quality books, giving them a “first chance” to succeed.
