FOIA Requests

The Governor’s Office is committed to transparency and openness. Persons submitting requests under Delaware’s Freedom of Information Act (29 Del.C. §§ 10001 et seq.) may use the State of Delaware’s Online FOIA Request Form.

Alternatively, FOIA requests (complete this PDF form) may be filed by:

  • Email          gov_foia@delaware.gov
  • Fax:             1-302-577-3210
  • U.S. Mail    Office of the Governor
                        820 N. French St., 12 Floor
                        Wilmington, DE 19801
                        Attention: Wilson Davis

All FOIA requests must be in writing, and must adequately describe the records sought in sufficient detail to enable the Governor’s Office to locate such records with reasonable effort. The requesting party must be as specific as possible when requesting records. To assist the Governor’s Office in locating the requested records, the Governor’s Office may request that the requesting party provide additional information such as the types of records, dates, parties to correspondence, and subject matter of the requested records. Please note that FOIA requests delivered by regular mail may be delayed for security screening. We therefore encourage submission of requests by email or the Online FOIA Request Form.
