The mission of the Old-Growth Forest Network is to connect people with nature by identifying and protecting mature forests. Further, the organization seeks to preserve, protect, and promote the few remaining stands of old-growth forest in the U.S. Tulip Tree Woods is one of three dedications being celebrated in each county in Delaware on April 27. Following the ceremony, Governor Carney will plant a tree in honor of Arbor Day.
