Leipsic Oyster Festival & Proclamation Presentation for Oyster Month

WHAT: Governor John Carney will attend the 3rd annual Leipsic Oyster Festival. The festival celebrates Leipsic’s authentic charm, its long history as a working waterfront community and the natural bounty its residents have harvested and Delawareans have enjoyed for hundreds of years. At the festival, the Governor will present a proclamation, recognizing the month of October as Oyster month.

Ceremonial Bill Signing – House Bill 205

WHAT: Governor John Carney will sign a ceremonial copy of House Bill 205. This legislation makes technical and clerical changes to the licensing requirements necessary to become a master barber. This bill also clarifies apprenticeship and hour requirements to meet licensure requirements. House Bill 205 was officially signed into law on June 27, 2019.
