Viewing for Former State Senator Roger Martin

WHAT: Governor John Carney will attend the viewing for former State Senator Roger Martin in Middletown. Martin was elected to his first term to the Delaware State Senate in 1972 and served in the Senate until 1994. He was elected Majority Leader of the Senate in 1977-1978 and again in 1994. In addition to serving in the Legislature, Martin was a well-known historian who wrote several books on Delaware’s history.

The Grow Delaware Fund is a state-wide initiative designed to offer flexible, long-term, fixed rate financing to Delaware-based businesses. The Grow Delaware Fund, which seeks to replicate the success of the Grow Wilmington Fund, is a unique partnership that will provide $5 million to support loans to small businesses in Delaware that are seeking to strengthen their operations and grow jobs.
