Delaware State Housing Authority Strong Neighborhoods Fund Awards

This event is open to the press.

WHAT: Governor Carney will join Delaware State Housing Authority Director Anas Ben Addi, Dover Mayor Robin Christiansen, General Assembly members, nonprofit partners and others to announce $3.2 million in funding for affordable housing redevelopment from the Strong Neighborhoods Housing Fund. DSHA’s Strong Neighborhoods Housing Fund puts money directly into neighborhoods to address abandoned properties, and attack blight. Through the program, properties are removed, renovated or replaced and sold to low-income residents who then become homeowners and stakeholders in their communities.
