December 6, 2007 – Governor Minner announced at the Department of Agriculture the state of Delaware, aided by contributions from the Conservation Fund, the Mt. Cuba Center Inc., and the USDA Forest Legacy Program, has acquired 1,100 acres of prime forestland and wildlife areas in Sussex County to remain as protected open space. This was accomplished with a $12.8 million purchase from the Glatfelter Pulp Wood Company. Pictured with Gov.
