November 14, 2007 – Governor Minner toured the Fraunhofer Center for Molecular Biotechnology and observed a demonstration at the expanded facility in Newark. The demonstration showed plants being immersed in a liquid containing bacteria which the plants can take up, enabling them to produce a desired vaccine or therapeutic for specific diseases.
