September 7, 2006 – Gov. Minner signed Senate Bill 251, the full-day kindergarten bill, at Linden Hill Elementary in Wilmington. S.B. 251 authorizes all Delaware school districts to offer the option of full-day kindergarten by the start of the 2008-2009 school year. Any kindergarten-eligible student can attend full-day sessions if the student’s parent or guardian chooses. Pictured with Gov. Minner (left to right) are Rep. Melanie Marshall and Sen.
