November 29, 2006 – Governor Minner highlighted the importance of science and biotechnology education during her speech at the Governor Minner Biotechnology Scholarship Fund Donor dinner at Deerfield Golf & Tennis Club in Newark. The scholarship, which was named in honor of Governor Minner for her support of and contributions to biotechnology in the state of Delaware, was established to promote and enhance science education in the First State.
