June 16, 2006 – At the Milford Relay for Life, Gov. Minner signed the American Cancer Society’s Wall of Hope banner, which will be displayed in Washington D.C. this September among thousands of other banners from all across the country during their Celebration on the Hill. Relay for Life is a nationally recognized overnight event sponsored by the American Cancer Society that raises money to support cancer research and promotes awareness of the disease.
