June 24, 2007 – Governor Minner used a 20 meter frequency to contact a radio operator in Indiana during the 75th Annual Amateur Radio Relay League (ARRL) Field Day at the Georgetown Airport. The ARRL Field Day is a competition among radio operators, also known as ham operators, to make contact with other hams around the country.
