July 20, 2005 - Gov. Minner signed two bills building on her legacy of land preservation, establishing a new program to protect Delaware’s forestland and creating a permanent funding stream for preserving farmland. S.B. 229 earmarks $10 million a year in revenues from the realty transfer tax as a permanent funding source for the preservation of farmland.
