Gov. Minner on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004 signed two bills to benefit the men and women who serve in the Delaware National Guard. Senate Bill 296 allows state employees who are mobilized to continue to receive their state provided health care insurance for two years as long as they continue to pay their co-payment. Senate Bill 299 creates a check-off block on the state tax form to allow donations to the Delaware National Guard and Reserve Emergency Assistance Fund.
