Governor Ruth Ann Minner to Host Open House at Woodburn Saturday, May 5
Dover – Gov. Ruth Ann Minner invites all Delawareans to enjoy Old Dover Days festivities at Woodburn that will include an open house, the Governor’s tea and entertainment.
The Governor’s Tea will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., with traditional music and dancing, on Woodburn’s South Lawn on Saturday, May 5 at the official home of Delaware’s governor, at 151 Kings Highway in Dover. An open house at both Woodburn and Hall House will be available and open to the public between noon and 4 p.m.
“Our celebration of Old Dover Days with the open house and tea is a great opportunity to enjoy the City of Dover and learn about Delaware’s colonial history,” said Gov. Minner “I encourage everyone to visit Woodburn and join me for tea on Saturday.”
In case of rain, the Governor’s Open House will go on with limited outdoor activities.
